Easter Events

Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, April 12, at 10:00 a.m.

We are excited to host our annual Easter Egg Hunt for children age 8 and under!  All are welcome, the event will be held rain or shine!  Please RSVP using the link below.  There will be different spaces for different ages.  Families are welcome, but children should hunt independently as they are able.  Please arrive on time, as the hunt ends once all the eggs have been collected!  Children should bring their own bag or basket to collect eggs.  Please note that this event is fully supported by donations, and some eggs may contain candy with common allergens, such as peanuts and tree nuts (i.e. Reese’s, Snickers, etc.).  Please use caution if your child has a food allergy.  

Early Childhood Family Easter Egg Coloring Night

Monday, April 14, from 6:00-7:00pm

Join our Early Childhood staff for an evening of egg coloring on Monday, April 14! Please bring one or two dozen eggs and a basket to bring them home. Invite your friends and neighbors! The event will be held in the cafeteria. Please enter through Door #10. To reserve your spot, please RSVP to our Early Childhood Director, Marlene Tres, at 847-660-4163.

Easter Brunch

Sunday, April 20, from 9:00-10:30am and 11:30am-12:30pm

The Community Meal team as well as our youth will be serving a free Easter brunch on Sunday, April 20.  There will be a free will offering to support our youth for their trip to the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans this summer.

Menu: Ham, egg, and cheese casserole, French toast casserole, Crêpes with assorted fillings, Sausage gravy over biscuits, Assorted sweet breakfast breads, Fresh fruit salad, Juices and coffee
